Distance: 3.1m round trip | Climb: 1300ft | Surface: dirt, rocks
This trail is a hike up to the summit of Bear Butte. Trees are rare so this trail is best hiked early in the day or on cooler days. This is a good hike if you are up for a challenge. There are some benches along the way to rest. Watch your step as rattlesnakes are common in this area. A picturesque view is waiting at the top to make this trip worthwhile.
TIPS: NO PETS are allowed on the trail. This is a state park, so there is an entrance fee.
