Did mostly loop D, on a hot summer’s day with lots of bugs. Found interesting cow parts. Also snowshoed this area (the snowshoe loop is limited in length).

Cold morning at 37* and wet. Rain stayed away until the last part of the hike. But it was beautiful, fall colors are almost gone. Took Loop C then forgot about the turn and continued along Loop D for a short while. Logging going on in the area, the sign here Loop C leaves Loop D was busted in half and on the ground. Didn’t notice it the first time by it.

We hiked/snowshoed the C Loop of the Big Hill Trails. Very pretty Trail. Good views when you are up on the top of the hill. Long loop trail that takes you through some cool terrain. This is a maintained cross country ski trail during the winter with snow shoe loops as well. Parts of the trail were dirt and some fairly deep snow still in some parts of the trail as of mid April.
