This is a pleasant trail, a bit challenging but not too tough, with some pleasant views. The trail section to the south of Silver Mountain had a few small icy/snowy spots, but was generally dry/rocky and hard packed. We found that the llarger trail area to the north of the parking area had a lot more big muddy areas. Still passable without being horrible, but if you’re just looking for a nice clean couple of miles on a warm winter day, the southern loops may be the best bet.
